| LIGHTS The purpose of a light over
a pool table is to illuminate the playing surface of the table. The fixture should
direct the light down towards the pool table not up toward the ceiling. There
should be no part of the fixture between the bulb and the playing surface that
may cast a shadow on the table. The bottom of the shade is typically placed
34" - 36" above the playing surface. If you hang the light before the
table is in place it should be about 5' 4" - 5' 6" between the shade
and the floor. As you view these light fixtures, use your imagination to
customize it to your own specifications. You can mix and match most any item that
you see. For example If you see a fixture in polished brass that you like but
prefer it in brushed chrome, that can be done. Most any shade can be swapped onto
any fixture. The colors on the glass paneled shades can be changed to more closely
match the color scheme in your billiard room.
